Archaic, repealed laws are really louder than screams of the martyrs for peace and love?
I honestly like memes. They’re expressively witty and as an introvert, they illustrate a lot of feelings that I don’t feel but can relate to and thus be horribly bad at sharing said feelings. But sometimes I come across a meme that’s just so …its just so…worst of all its a quote…it’s just sad that there are people who are so famous, but think with a media issued mind. The meme of topic is:

I understand if this person had an oppression by the ever prevalent wanna be Christian religions and thus has an opposition. But what I don’t get is how he could have read every other book of the first few books of the Bible and say “there is not a single line”. Yes what he says is in the Bible, but they aren’t The Bible. They’re pieces of laws ordained on an infantile people under a promise with God. What’s more important is the difference in the instructions and guidance of the New Testament versus the laws of the Old. Most if not all but ten of the laws (the ten commandments) were over ruled by the hanging of Jesus on a cross and leading up to that, Jesus went through the land preparing the world for primarily salvation, but also a change in the laws that by this time in history had become corrupt. Where it was law to stone, shun, and trade eye for eye any sins: He taught that unconditional love and forgiveness were to be the new laws. Why this sudden change? Because He was going to die as the last Holy sacrifice. God was going to turn away from his son - part of his own holy-holiness - all so that we may have the chance to spend eternity not in agony and utter despair, but in life and in the immediate splendor that is God and his kingdom.
This meme also mentions that there is no speak of infectious disease and that modern science has ultimately nullified scripture. As a scientist, I cannot help but lament at how pettily wrong that logic is. How infantile. How thoughtless - implanted thought by social medias and just crap: if I were to cut into his brain, would I find a brain or a robot supplied with a programmed list of one liners collected by people who ask ten thousand questions for every quarter answer they give. [end rant] Science versus scripture: nah they get along together, who would of payed attention in their history lessons when genes were discovered by a monk, relevancy of time was established because “God doesn’t cast die”, and just so many others. But I digress because the meme says “modern science” so modern science versus scripture? The results are unverified because those who take a pro atheist stand in science have 99 missing links but THE missing link aint one of them. The scientists who take a stand pro Deus are pretty much weighed by how pro and how many answers are they actually supplying versus how much do they throw around miracles as the answer. But as stated prior, the scientists whose lives WERE science and actually supplied us with credible facts and theories on the cusp of becoming law, all fully believed in God and were most often inspired by God. Just because the words genetics; gravity; event horizon of a black hole; or twitter aren’t found in the Bible doesn’t mean that the Bible doesn’t allude to any of it. In fact, there’s a strong hint at genetics throughout the old testament in which blessings and curses were carried on through family lines. If you’re gonna degrade something, at least take the courtesy to read all of it and understand it first..

P.s. You may be wondering why I didn’t mention anything about the Quran when the quote pins the two together. While I know of multiple accounts from converts of Muslim, I personally have not read the Quran so I don’t know what it has to say about what. I’ve just been told that it talks of blood a lot, love little, salvation even less, and unity never.
